Seems like you're in a tough situation!
Ashura: I certainly am.
Ashura: My son, Nuroo, and I have not spoken in several years.
Ashura: He decided to follow my family's Path in the military and I...did not approve.
Ashura: I overreacted and scared him away. But that was years ago and I regret it now.
Ashura: I've been trying to figure out a way to tell him I want him back in my life. So I wrote two letters...
Ashura: One taking responsibility for my actions and another that tells him how much it would have meant to his mother for us to reconcile.
Ashura: I'm having a terribly hard time deciding which one to send.
You: 
Send the one about Sabine. It's sweet...
Ashura: The boy was close to his mother. You're right.
Ashura: I think he will write me back if I discuss how much it would have meant to Sabine.
