Hassian: I thought she might have... but you're the one who chose to spend that time with me.
Hassian: When you told me mama was alive, my first thought should have been of relief. Happiness.
Hassian: But the first thought I had was, "If she wasn't dead, why'd she leave me?"
Hassian: What a terrible thing to think. What a terrible thing to feel.
Hassian: I shouldn't feel that way. She's my mom. I've spent most of my life waiting for her to come home.
Hassian: So why, when it finally happens, can't I just... be happy about it?
