Hassian: (Hassian's shoulders lose some of their tension. He gives you a tentative smile.)
Hassian: I'm not sure I would have been able to tolerate this without you.
You: 
Same.
Hassian: I used to enjoy these family dinners... but a lot of things have changed since I was little.
Hassian: It just feels too soon to start... acting like everything is back to normal.
Hassian: Mama is just how I remember, but... I'm not the same person at all. I was just a kid when she disappeared.
Hassian: It's strange to not know how to act around your own mom.
Hassian: ...But now isn't the time to make things about me. You'd better go fill your plate, or mother will never let you hear the end of it.
