You: How are you doing?
Tish: I know this may sound a little extreme, but things are...soooo less than optimal today.
Tish: I'm trying to look on the bright side, but it is just EXTREMELY difficult right now.
Tish: Especially given the fact that I'm so busy with commissions I don't even have time to rage redecorate like I normally do when I'm feeling a bit miffed.
You: 
Rage redecoration! That sounds rad.
Tish: It would be, if I had time!
Tish: Ooooh, I have an idea --
Tish: Why don't you help me with some new piece?
Tish: I've got this new set I've been noodling on. Maybe you could take a crack at trying to build me something from it?
Tish: It'll be a win-win. I'll get the furniture and you'll get to practice your skills.

Tish: Oh, it's nothing. I don't want to bother you with my feelings.
Tish: But, maybe you could help me with something else...
