You know I'm not normally big on Majiri tradition, but we've got one coming up that involves food, so you know I'm all in. It's called...wait for it...or don't wait, just read ahead...Winterlights! During Winterlights, we light candles with those we care about to symbolize hope for a new spring during the darkest time of the year. Tish and I usually just light a candle and make some soup, but I thought since we have a brand new family member, we might want to party a little heartier this year. Here's a candle. You can light it with whoever you want, and who knows, they might give you something in return. :) PS - Jina told me humans used to bring a live tree into the house and cover it with candles for a festival they called Frostide. Seems like a fire hazard, but you guys had magic right? Anyway I included one with the recipe. Just...don't burn your house down. I'd miss you too much.
