I'm sure you've noticed the change in weather we've been having. The cold always makes me want to simply retire to my boudoir and hibernate like a bear for three months...but since that isn't an option I simply must tell you about a rather rollicking tradition we have in the valley called Winterlights. During Winterlights, we light candles with those we care about to symbolize hope for a new spring during the darkest time of the year. Between you and me, it's also rather practical to have a little extra light to work by. Since I was gracious enough to take on the duty of becoming your Shepp and mentor, I have decided to take it upon myself to send you a gift to create your own light in the darkness. Use it wisely! PS - My research tells me that humans used to put their Winterlight candles on a tree if you can believe it! I decided to send you one such evergreen should you decide to indulge in your ancestral tradition. If you like, you can ask around to see if others wish to help you zhuzh it up a bit.
